Whilst we always try to ensure the most robust manufacturing method to produce a defect free product, BFC Group Ltd can when required work using sorting methods to further reduce the possibility for foreign bodies and misshaped components getting through to our customers production line. We employ a variety of different methods which include automatic sorting machines, using rollers and runners, camera/optical, lasers, eddy currents, and weight variations. There is a huge range of machines available to BFC Group Ltd to check a component for specific key characteristics, however when a machine is not available, we can employ manual sorting, using checking gauges, ring and plug gauges and other aids including height feeds. The sorting requirements are added to the process route for the component and become as fundamental as a plating or secondary process.
